The Scoop

Passing through Creekside, the Valley Trail route connects Whistler from Cheakamus all the way through to Emerald. The Valley Trail runs past both Nita and Alpha Lake in Creekside and all loops under the highway and around Creekside Village. The Valley Trail is a great path for walking, jogging or bike riding. This trail does not have access for cars so is a safe way to get some exercise and see Whistler. This paved trail network connects Whistler’s neighbourhoods, lakes, viewpoints and picnic spots

Open year-round with sections maintained in winter for walking, cross country skiing and fat biking. Explore more than 46km of trail with new sections added on the regular. 38km of the Valley Trail is cleared in the winter, with the exception of sections groomed for multi-use activities including cross country skiing. The Valley Trail is dog friendly but our canine friends should be leashed.

The Valley Trail also connects to the Sea to Sky Trail and is part of the Trans Canada Trail which connects thousands of communities across Canada.
